Early this morning the Las Vegas police department arrested two people in connection with the shooting death Monday of a 26-year-old Las Vegas man.
On Monday, Henderson Police officers responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls about gunshots fired in the area of North Green Valley Parkway and La Mesa Drive at the Villas apartments in Green Valley.
The found the victim on the ground suffering from multiple fatal gunshot wounds.
The investigation lead to the victim’s baby mama.
Krystal Guice, 23, and Deonte Coleman, 25, were found at a Las Vegas home near West Cheyenne Avenue and North Hualapai Way and arrested without incident around 2:15 a.m this morning.
Guice and the victim shared custody of a 4-year-old girl. The victim was walking with his child to meet with the mother, as he would on any other custody exchange day.. Except Monday would be different..
It would be the final exchange. The last time the child would have Daddy/Daughter time with her father.
During the child exchange Deonte Coleman, who accompanied Krystal Guice to the meeting pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the victim..
The two then sped off in a vehicle along with the crying child.
The victim Johnny Dee Haney Jr., 26 died at the scene. Police haven’t released his name as of yet.. But my sources tell me that’s the victim’s name. He was killed the day after his birthday..
Both Guice and Coleman are charged with open murder. They are being held at the Henderson Detention Center.
Krystal Guice just delivered a little boy a few weeks ago.. Both kids are now in the custody of Child Haven (CPS)..
So sad and so stupid. As if the police weren’t going to check his phone records and text messages and see that the last person he talked to was his silly baby mama. They need to give her life for this.
That kid has to be traumatized. She didn’t care about her own life, her daughter’s father life or the life of her kids..
Some men could care less about their kids. This one was obviously trying to be a good father to his.

The child is definitely traumatized as I said.. A neighbor told the news Johnny died right outside her window..
