Queen Latifah first came onto the sceneas a rapper. Then it was also discovered that she could sing (as Dana Owens).
The multi-talented Queen then got into acting, she became a talk show host and most recently has been producing shows and movies.
Some of her joints include “Single Ladies” and “The Rap Game” on Lifetime with Jermaine Dupri.
Her latest flick opened today – “The Perfect Match” with Terrence J and Paula Patton.
Since Queen Latifah has been on a promotional tour with Patton, the rumors have been flying that the two are now “Hollywood’s Lesbian Power Couple.”
Patton has a son from Robin Thicke, who she was married to.
Queen Latifah has never been shy about her sexuality – she has pretty much always preferred women.
Her latest girlfriend was reportedly Eboni Nichols.
Some celebrity blogs are now reporting, however, that Nichols and Queen Latifah broke up at the end of 2015.
Funny thing… Queen Latifah was on “The Talk” the other day and mentioned that she used to have problems with commitment when it came to relationships.
“The Perfect Match” deals with that very subject matter.
As to whether or not Queen Latifah and Paula Patton are romantically involved, there is no evidence of such a liaison, could be just two professional women out together promoting their project.
Let’s be fair – when men are out promoting movies that they star in together, do we claim they are gay? Ice Cube, Kevin Hart? Chris Tucker, Jackie Chan? Mel Gibson, Danny Glover?
